About Us
RCS Commercial Moving and Warehousing was founded in 1994 specializing in professional, comprehensive commercial relocation and warehousing services.
Former UVA Football captain, Alec Vozenilek, founded D1 Moving and Storage in 2015 with team mates and a pickup truck. Over the next year, the brand expanded with multiple trucks across Charlottesville, Richmond and Northern Virginia.
D1 Moving continued to grow, adding multiple warehouses across Richmond and Northern Virginia. In 2019, D1 acquired RCS Moving and Storage - the largest sole commercial moving company in central Virginia.
Together the brands offer elite service for both residential and commercial jobs including warehousing and logistics planning.
